hi everyone! It has been awhile since I have been on here. Have not been on the computer much. Busy with family and chooks. I thought this would be the place to get help because for once, I'm on the internet and cant find information that I want. Anyway, with the upcoming sports (softball) we are needing to raise $ for uniforms, equipment, tournaments etc. Our town will be having a feista in June and I thought a 'chicken rodeo' would be fun and a fresh idea for our small town. I have some thoughts but to have someone who has actually been exposed to the event and could clue me in, would be awesome. Not sure roping is what i want to do. But have teams of two (age groups) try to catch a chicken and.........then what?. I doubt they will take them home, which is fine. They can come back to my place. But do you have a finish line? what would be a good price to charge for a ticket? Getting an area set up shouldn't pose a problem. I just don't know what to expect and want to be prepared. Any information or suggestion (not matter how small) will be greatly appreciated.
