Chicken roosting too much

It was happening even before the chick was weaned. She had two brothers which we had to get rid of because we can’t have Roos within city limits. They got the brunt of the harassment. I thought it would be better once they left. Although it has lessened, she is still getting enough where she barely comes off the roost. Baby just started laying within this week.

What breed? Your coop/run looks sizable. Just a thought, you could put her in a wire large dog crate with food & water, "reintroduce" her to the flock with the See but No Touch method ... Not sure if getting another her size/age would help any but it's sad and aart is probably right, she maybe the "low bird" in your flock.

WOW, JG are big girls ... No one's being injured so maybe just let things work itself out. Just keep a close eye that she's eating & drinking.
Yeah I thought with her size it would help as she got older. Unfortunately it hasn’t. She usually gets down off roost once the others have gone to roost for the night. I just feel bad for her

:hugs I would too :hugs I was looking at your setup, where does she roost? On that platform or in the tree? She comes down to eat AFTER the others roost, where does she go after, does so go back & roost with them? Does she lay in the same nest as they?

Looking at your set up again...I would suggest that another feeder and waterer might help...and maybe add some 'stuff' to the run: 2x2's and branches for roosts, logs, stumps, pallets leaned against wall or up on concrete blocks, grazing frames, old table/chairs/benches...things for diversion and 'hiding places'.

Is the green part of the coop separated from the white part of the coop with a wall?
Is the interior pic the white part or the green part?
Is the baby staying on the roosts shown above where the bird is in the interior pic?
