Chicken roosts problem

If I was modifying this, I'd likely just go side to side with three equal height roost bars, perhaps one additional lower rung as a midway jump point to get up. Would likely use something larger than those small dowels
Ok I was thinking about putting two 8 foot 2x4s on either side of the two windows And take out that ladder and then put another 8 foot 2 x 4 directly under the windows as a midway jump. It would fill up the coop quite a bit

Don't fill it up so much that you can't clean it. :)

That's a very tight fit for the number of birds you have.
Ditto Dat.
Do you have a secure run too?

Also curious about ventilation.
Where in this world are you located @ChickenDude12345 ?
Climate, and time of year, is almost always a factor.
Please add your general geographical location to your profile.
It's easy to do, and then it's always there!

I do have a secure run and I’m located in northern New Hampshire

I do have electricity keep the water thawed and my run can be covered
With a solid roof?
This was winter here last year:

Those are the tips of my 40" posts just poking up out of the snow that fell in one night. No netting or tarp is going to stand up to something like this.
