Chicken RP

Dolly cringed in pain, though it was not bad. She made an "hhhhhh" as she could not speak.The eggs shifted slightly at her sudden movement. She moved them to her left side, the side without the damaged wing.

"Ahhh. You've dislocated it. Pardon me again, this will hurt." Pepper fixed one talon hard around her wing and pushed hard on it, causing Dolly a little pain, but a click noise could be heard as it was put into place again. "There we go. Try moving it again."

Dolly cringed again, and her eggs shifted. She moved it, it still hurt but it felt better. "Thank you Pepper." She aid still hoarse. she hesitated. " Pepper, can i ask you something?" Dolly knew she would hate herself for asking but she had to know. " She moved the cracked egg out from under her, carefully so that it would not leak. "Will it survive?" She asked, her voice cracking.

Pepper carefully nudged the egg a little closer to her and pressed her head to it, listening for a heartbeat. Her eyes moved slightly, as if focusing on hearing movement or a heartbeat.

Dolly watched unblinking. She knew there would be nothing. Please, she prayed, Please, let her live, Rakia is a horrible hen, and my daghter does not deserve to die from her. She had decided that the young chick was a girl.

Pepper's eyes narrowed slightly. She turned her head a little to hear better.

Dolly watched carefully. If she has to move that close it is definitely dead, she thought. Name's raced through her head. She at least wanted it to be named.

Pepper let out a low clicking noise, it echoed off the egg, then a responding noise. "It's alive. Female chick." Pepper confirmed.

"oooohhh" Dolly felt like she was going to faint. "will it live for much longer?" she asked, her voice returning.

Pepper sighed. "I don't think it will make it to adolescence, but she just might make it, I can't be sure until she hatches."
