Chicken Rules

If you could write a list of rules for your chickens to follow, what would you write? Here are a few that I could come up with. I might try to do something crafty and hang a list of rules in my run/coop.

1. No pooping in the nest boxes.

2. Bickering among the hens should be kept to a minimum.

3. Please do not empty the feeders.

4. No bullying and harassing of the younger chicks.

5. No egg eating, ever.

6. Roosters must respect the hens' boundaries (no overmating).

7. No pooping when the human is holding you.

8. Leave the berry bushes ALONE.

9. Leave the vegetable patch ALONE.

10. The dog is neither a threat or a toy.

11. The back porch is NOT for pooping.

12. Pecking on the back door will not get you treats.

I wish! My neighbors are too close. I need to move and have more land.

15. No false alarm egg songs!
16. No careless landings off the roost.
17. No flying over the fence to the neighbor who already hasn't spoken to me in 6 years.
18. No broodiness in mid-winter

20. please don't roost under the kitchen window it spooks me when I look out.
21. sitting in my lap and letting me pet you, will yield yummy treats.

24. No sharing food with wild birds. They are not your friends.
