Yea, we now. Our room is next to the coop so if anything happens I will hear it. I am a very light sleeper

Chickens on the roost will remain quiet after dark, you will wake up to a bunch of dead chickens one morning when a predator gets in.

I think you will find that 19g 1/2 inch hardware cloth is more predator proof but otherwise the setup looks wonderful.
