Hello, I am making a 3D coop design that will be used soon for a community project.
I made two coops of healthy size for a divided space of 20 chickens.

Ive constructed the outside cage and gate openings, but roofing might be difficult since I didn’t make the coop based on a 1-coop/run design.
I want to be able to have a good amount of space in the run, with less wooden boards holding up the material I need to use. Something strong that can be stretched about 5-10 feet or more. (the full square footage is 267.75 ft² or 17 x 15.75 ft.)

Also, this build will be located in suburban north-west texas, so it can get kinda windy. How far should I set the run in the ground?

I have some experience, but since this is for a few people I just decided to have two. I read on a few sites it was okay to have the coops inside the run though?
The run is about 8ft tall so I didn’t think much of it.

My coop's fully inside the run. Still undecided about whether that was a good idea or not - it's extra predator protection, especially since I use the peak of the roof to hold up netting, but it eats up run space.

I still have my latched chicken boxes outside the run, so most of the inside stuff will just to make sure a chicken is okay/ time to clean out the front of the pen. The chicken boxes also have another detachable wooden board on the wall under them so you can sweep out underneath. We also have two door to the double opening.

Also this is kinda important but I already started with a closed-roof sla

nted style on these areas. So it’s still just, what material would be best and how deep should I dig these pylons?
