Hello all!
Almost finished building our first chicken coop for our 13 girls. Actually picked up
The coop idea from a thread on here so shout out to My6chicks. I’m looking for some run ideas now. I don’t want to go over the top with it considering the coop was much more expensive than I anticipated. Checking here to see if anyone has some ideas. The original design I was going for was using cattle wire fencing for the exterior shape. Any ideas are welcomed!
First time posting on this site so let’s see!
Here is picture of the coop I’ve built so far

That’s kind of what I was thinking. But was trying to maybe find some different ways to go about designing it.

Easiest method is to use cattle panels. There 16' long x 50" tall.

Make a frame out of 2x6, 8' wide x however long you want (# of panels x 50").

You center hight will be about 6'.

Nice, that was very similar to what I was thinking. Do you put hardware cloth on the bottom portion or the whole thing? Do you also cover the front and back with hardware cloth as well?

Yes, I covered mine with HC. 18" HC apron around the coop and run. Don't recommend lining the inside of the run. Chickens like to scratch and dig. Lining the bottom will most likely damage their feet.
