Chicken Run size

Hello,

I am in the process of building my chicken coop and run. I have done a lot of research into coop size per bird and I have built my coop accordingly. I will be getting six birds in april and have until then to build my run, before buying all the lumber I wanted to make sure my run size would be sufficient. I want these birds to have a lot of free roaming space in their run as they will primarily be staying in there. The dimensions I have measured out are 20ft x 14ft x 7ft(Tall), including the 8x8 elevated coop inside of that run. ( They will be able to go under the coop)

Will this be sufficient enough for 6 birds? This will be a permanent coop

Yup you're good on space. If you really want to make the most of it add some things for the chickens to do - things to climb on like perches or tree stumps, things to dig in like litter or dirt, and a nice spot for a dust bath.
