Chicken Runs

I have three buff orpingtons, a chicken coop that is 3.5 x 4 feet and a chicken run that is fifty square feet. Is it necessary to move the chicken run every four or five days or can I leave it stationary. I prefer to lay straw down and clean it out once a week or so rather than moving it. Is it better for the chickens to move to new ground or keep the same run. I also have a run under the coop that is four by seven but contains a chicken feeder and a water container. These two items takes up a lot of this run. Would appreciate your opinion

My chicken pens and coops stay on the same ground for their entire existence. I've not had any trouble. As long as you clean it out regularly, it will be fine.
