chicken saddles

I need a chicken saddle for a barebacked hen. I know DitzyChick sells them, but I think she's busy.
Any ideas?

Do you sew? I made some and I would not mind sending you one but they are all ALABAMA fabric for my Crimson Tide loving chickens. LOL. If you wish I can also send you an email of the basic pattern and they are easy to whip up.

Can it be done without a sewing machine? I dread sewing....

They are pretty easy but I use the zigzag stitch on my machine. I doubt they would hold up real well if you tried to hand sew them.

Ok, at first I was like- what on earth would you need a chicken saddle for- then I envisioned little ittsie bitsie ppl racing chickens, HA. Then I went to that link- now I get it, der. How freakin cute are the flower ones!?!?!
