Chicken see, chicken do

My "flock" is small. Only a rooster and a couple of girls. (I hope that changes.) I looked out this morning and got a chuckle because all three were grooming themselves. I'm sure that one starts and the others decides that looks like a good idea. Is there anything else they'll do by copying each other?

Our girls do the same thing - one will start doing something and the others will do the same, especially grooming. But often, if one decides to go up the gangplank into the coop to get a drink of water, the others will follow her, thinking maybe she's onto something they don't know about. We love watching them.

I've noticed that about mine too. One decides to get a drink and they all do.
