@BeckiinVA so glad to hear that you little pullet is doing so much better and now is laying. I am glad that it seems to have been just a temporary neurological symptom, and not Mareks. They always seem to do better when the weather is good and they can get outside. Thank you for the update.

Thanks, Eggcessive. I'm relieved, for sure! My intent was to raise these birds as livestock, but when you raise them from day old chicks, you can't help but fall for them. I still don't treat them as "pets", haven't named them and won't, but I do seem to worry over them like they are my kids. LOL I have 7 pullets and 2 cockerels (one is going to a new home this week). I have never counted to 9 so many times in my life, as I do every single time I look out the window, or walk out the door. My hubby calls me "the chicken mama". LOL
