chicken sex help please

Hi everyone,

this is my neighbours bird Daphne. Last weekend she cock a doodle do'd quite badly twice so we now think Daphne is a Dave. The bird is 27 weeks (approx.) has yet to lay any eggs has not had any more suspect noises!
Daphne/Dave is a Silkie hard feather... any help would be appreciated.

if it crows its a rooster. silkies are slow to mature

Most likely a cockerel - is it developing pointy hackle, saddle and tail coverlet feathers?

its probably a roo... the reason he hasn't crowed much might also be because silkies in don't crow as much in my experience.
