Shame shame!!!

I took the picture to shame that beautiful blue OE with the red red comb. Then noticed three other hold outs in the picture! Shame on them all.
I've tried begging and pleading. Bargaining. Threatening.
NO EGGS!

Bout time. Now to wait for the other 8. All of a sudden Licorice (above photo) is the sweetest, most loving chicken ever! 2 weeks ago, I was still the big scary monster human trying to kill her! Hope the others get more docile as they start laying. I cant see the faverolles laying eggs! They aren't the smartest girls. Dumb Dora's.
Yippy! Way to go Licorice. I brought home a laying hen...who has yet to lay an egg for me. LOL

How long have you had her? Now that's some shameful behavior!
A week. She came in as a lone hen so gets a little more abuse then usual. My yearlings are also going through their first molt and are all rather unhappy about it. LOL One poor girl seems to be taking it especially hard.
I must admit I rubbed my eyes and checked again.
Sweet little latte colored pullet egg!
Now if I only knew who's it was. LOL
