I have 2 one year old hens who are both sick. They have one eye that is shut (looks to be stuck with drainage). When I soak it with warm water it will open when I gently pry, but she won't keep it open. Her nose is also running, she sounds like she has a cold. They are both lethargic, one more than the other.
The more lethargic hen has a paler comb and wattle. It is more purple-ish.
I have brought them away from the other hens. 21 more outside.
What should I give them?
They don't seem to want to eat. So I gave them some raw milk with a syringe dropping it into their bottom beak and letting them swallow. (Hope milk is okay since I give them cheese).
I have also given them some poly-vi-sol.
And what should I give the other hens to keep them from getting it?
