Chicken sitter

I had to go out of town to take dd to a dance competion, I left dh instructions on my various brooders. 5-7week olds, 6-3week olds, 10 -1 week olds...pointed out the food, grit, water's, and even said he could give the 7 weekers a bit of millet and quinoa. I just arrived home and found the feeder for the 3 week olds FILLED WITH CHICK GRIT

Upon interegation he said well you said to use the "red" bag for those.

I then ask him to explain to me what was red about the bag of grit vs the 50 # red bag of start and grow sitting next to the very small BROWN bag of chick grit.

They seem to be fine, but I am watching.

Well, so far so good. I think they are drinking more than usual but I could attribute that to the way they went to town on their crumbles once I put the right stuff in there. I guess they have enough stone in there to grind up most anything!
