Chicken sitting feet-forward.

Our 3-yr old hen is sitting feet-forward like this & doesn't seem to be able to stand. When she does move in the coop, she does so by flapping her wings & pushing herself backwards w/ her feet. This just started today, although for the last couple of days she has not been moving around a lot. She is not eating, drinking, or pooping (that we have seen). Her toes stay curled most of the time. We have not found any external injuries.

Does anyone have an idea what might be causing this & how to fix it?

Unfortunately, I think she could possibly have Mareks disease. There are some other possibilities such as botulism or lead poisoning, but Mareks is fairly common. Botulism is from eating rotted animal or fish remains, or vegetation that has been in a compost bed. Here is some reading about Mareks and botulism:
