What did you do in the garden today?

Not a ton but for 95% of these coming from 2 plants I am happy with it. Especially since I’m getting around this much every day

think my tomatoes are stressed due to heat because I have blossoms drop. :/ they are in partial shade it’s just so dang hot and humid! If I keep them alive, will they start producing this fall when it cools off?

My tomatoes will start producing again after the worst of the heat. I read that the pollin dries out with too much heat and humidity. After the heat passed, I had an established plant ready and able. I now like to let my plants over winter or over summer for a second season myself.

I snipped off all the bush bean plants at ground level and picked off all the beans, even the tiny ones. I left the roots in the ground to add organic matter to the soil, and to leave the nitrogen bearing nodules in place to enrich the soil a little.

Today the cucumber and cantaloupe vines have officially become compost material, they gave us their all. Watermelon soon to follow so tomatoes and sweet potatoes still in play with fall peas soon to start.

Can anyone tell me what type of melon/squash this is? I'm sure it's not ripe but I have 2 more in the garden that are bigger.

Before killing it dead could you try replanting it somewhere else? Didn't you say you've tried growing it in all 4 corners of your place? Maybe prepare the planting spot...

Looks like a spaghetti squash to me. I don't know how to tell if they're ready to pick.

It smells like pumpkin but it's not the pinkish inner like spaghetti squash

I thought spaghetti squash was yellow inside. Is it from a volunteer plant? Maybe it's a weird hybrid of some kind.
