I currently picked up a new buff orpington. She has been sitting on eggs so I gave her a few other eggs and she took them and put them underneath her and has been sitting on them for 4 days now but doesn't have that squawking and puff up reaction that everyone talks about she does peck very hard though when you put your hand into her nest then there's one particular egg as well that she will roll out from underneath her. Any thoughts or suggestions would be nice.

Has she been setting both day and night? When she rolls that egg out, are you putting it back under her? Is it always the same one? She may know that egg is dead.

Yes there's three actually but one in particular that's like a double yoker I would say gets rolled out yes day and night but she's a new hen so she's not really been accepted with the flock she was laying on the floor for a few days with a couple of the other newbies then she got up in one of the nest box that had two eggs in it and I gave her to to see what she would do and she roll them underneath her she has eight eggs total underneath her now but yes also I put her in her own separate area in the coop by herself because I have an EE that is always on top of her but ever since she's been in the new Coop and I see her she is still on top of the eggs
