Chicken sitting?

Good morning, I am wondering if anyone knows of a chicken sitter or chicken boarding available in Broward county? I am taking a 2 week trip in the summer this year & Im looking for a safe and caring solution while I’m gone. Any ideas? I have 2 shy hens & a very friendly rooster

Chicken boarding is a bad idea but a pet sitter may do chickens.

If you have a tractor supply, pet smart, or petco near you, they may have a teen employee who would be interested in the job.

All of the above, I have also asked vet techs if they can chicken sit. Clinic was near me

I would hire someone I know, and pay them to do it for me. Especially as small of a flock as you have. It wouldn't take much training to show them what to do. I wouldn't move my flock! The risk of disease and stress is not worth it!

In addition to the aforementioned suggestions, you can also call your local 4-H club. The first preference is someone you know and trust vs. a stranger. I would pay generously to ensure a higher probability of your instructions being followed. Good luck.
