Yesterday we started setting up cattle panels around the coop at after 4pm. Dusk hits at 5:15 pm. The girls were so loud that when I went into the other building to find some supplies, I thought a little yappy dog was out there (my yappy dog and I was wondering how he got out of the house.) But, when I came out it was just the girls.

I’m not usually out there when they start to roost so, I don’t know if this was normal chatter or if it was because they were letting us know that it was almost bed time and we needed to wrap things up! But, it was hilarious as loud as they were. I thought maybe they were competing with the tractor noise. Ha.

They can get quite loud especially when one makes changes in or around their home.
Even after going to roost, mine are quite chatty until all have settled into their favorite roost area.
