Now that the majority of my layers are laying I'm hearing a whole bunch of different sounds....When the "egg song" starts it's like a chorus of jibber jabber and my cockerel even pipes up doing the same thing....weirdo.

When Ted the cockerel crows they start yapping and making weird noises too....they have some interesting vocabulary for sure. When folks ask on here what the most quiet breed is to have....is there a quiet breed? Cause it sure ain't my bunch.....LOL

I didn't think so....but I see those questions asked a lot. I live in the boonies so mine can make all the racket they want. LOL

All mine are quiet unless they are locked in their run and everyone else is out. Then it’s a good thing we live in the country!
