Chicken spina bifida?

My pullet seems totally fine except for the fact that she seems to be growing unevenly. Has anyone else had this happen? She looks as though her tail is always leaning to one side. I felt her pelvis and it does seem like one side is more prominent.

Chickens can have wry tail, where the tail is crooked, which is a deformity that is hereditary. Some also can have a crooked spine called kinky back or spondolithosis, which is also a birth defect. Keels or breast bones can also be crooked, which may be seen during butchering or a necropsy. Here is a good article:
