I understand! It’s very exciting finding that first egg too. Post some pics in this thread when you get one. Also would put some golf balls or fake eggs in a nesting box to encourage them to lay there, I have to go on a Easter egg hunt every day Good luck!

Great, I’m sure that will be me too I will be sure to post! Looks like I’m getting oyster shells and fake eggs tomorrow hahaha.

Congratulations!!! My Salmon Fav squatted, and it startled me as I thought I stepped on her by accident. I rarely get to be that close to her. I got to pick her up and give her praise and cuddles.

I have 3 squatting now and have even heard the egg song a couple of times! I’ve seen some shuffling around in the nesting boxes, no eggs yet, though. I keep saying any day now….

I spoke too soon we now have one less freeloader!! I am so proud of her. It’s perfect!
