Yes, she rolled the egg! The nests were on the floor with partitions (plywood) separating them. I seen her rolling it with her beak into her nest. I had been trying to break her broodiness for over a week and she just wouldn't break. I don't know about tucking eggs under their wings, and I don't think they could get an egg up off the floor, but who knows what they can do. I saw a chicken playing a piano on tv! Wouldn't have believed that either!
