9 week old girl got jammed behind a nesting box. (Design flaw fixed). No idea how long she had been there. Figured she was a goner due to eyes and body language for lack of a better term.

Separated her in a kennel and force fed her electrolyte water. 20 cc, maybe half went in? Let her rest. She went from flopping over to sitting upright and breathing better. Looks around a little bit and the eyes are brighter 3 hours later. Plan is to put her kennel in the coop with food, water, and grit. I'll get some water down here again b4 nightfall.
Anything else I'm missing? Thx

Is she moving around ok? If she got herself stuck she isn’t likely to be hurt as much as dehydrated. When you say you don’t know how long she was stuck are we talking days or hours?
If she’s moving around ok and eating and drinking I would stick her back in with the flock.

Hours, maybe overnight. Did a headcount this morning and came up 1 short 2 times but somehow thought I came up good the 3rd time. Fast moving little buggers.
She currently not moving just laying in 1 spot though I haven't bothered her for a while. Just check to see if she's breathing.

Not eating yet or drinking. Just what I forced down her as far as I know.

Hmm…I wonder if she panicked and hurt herself although I’d have to see your setup to see how likely that is. It doesn’t sound likely. If the electrolytes didn’t help it might be worth making her a scrambled egg to see if you can tempt her to eat. Hopefully someone with a little more experience in this area will chime in. I have had my share of stuck chickens bit they always acted normally once I got them out of their predicaments. Is it possible she was injured and hiding there to escape something?

Actually spent some time with her. She is eating wonderfully.. not sure if she's drinking. I may have filled her. I'll put more down her tonight.

Put her with the rest of the troop and she reacted fine. They seemed okay with her. She has a leg foot issue as she doesn't have the balance and while not falling it isn't right and she goes to the laying position.

I moved poked and prodded and she doesnt seem to be guarding and nothing appears broke. I could see injured, pulled, etc.

I believe it would be very difficult to break anything. The gap was about 2.5 to 3 inches at the top and got smaller as you go down. She was head first and the wings were a bit wonky but anatomically everything looked "acceptable".. if anything was going to break it should have been the wings.

Chickens are definitely not dogs. "Timmy fell down the well, timmy fell down the well".

It's more like "wow, more traction in that gap"

I put her in the kennel in the coop. She seems to need the rest. Again eating well. Drinking? Idk

You can try making her a wet mash for breakfast to get some fluid in her but it sounds like she might have pulled a tendon or something. I wouldn’t stress too much unless it gets worse or she is getting picked on by the other chickens

Thx. She won the battle. Had enough fight in her to not take another syringe period!
Also was limping alot less but still limping. Could be using it may be as good as resting on it. It's near night anyway and the rest of the pack are just ignoring her. So out of pergatory for the night on good behavior. We will see in the morning.
I also have 3 cams inside the coop so I'll watch as well.
Thx again. Can't help with chickens but maybe I can help in other subject matters.
