this just happened by the end of the day and i dont think its been long enough to make a thread asking abt it yet id like to hear if some of u have had this and what u think it might be, one of my hens as i was watching her and the others was walking just fine and literally the next second i look at her she starts limping, had a closer look and no bumble foot or any injury or smth stuck so being unsure i just sprayed it with a disinfect and let her go, what do u guys think it could be? maybe she hit her foot or smth? ik its better if i just wait till next morning but im kinda too scared to sleep and find her worse or smth and yk i dont like waking up to smth like that lol

Can you get a video of her?

Upload video to YouTube and provide a link.
shes walking just fine today! i think she just hit her foot a bit before bed but shes running and digging just as normal now :) hopefully she doesnt hurt herself again

I'm glad to hear she's doing o.k.!
okay so yesterday and today shes back to limping but its super slight.. u wouldnt notice unless u pay a bit of attention, i checked her again and i dont see any injury or swallowing of any sort, her feet and legs look completely normal, i couldnt take a video bc shes kinda on and off with it but i noticed one of her legs she doesnt move as up as the other one if that makes sense? super slight difference so i only noticed after observing for a while, she also sometimes stands on one leg more often than other i gave her a soak for her feet up to the legs and they have multivitamins in their water rn, what do u think it could be? did she have a slight sprain in her leg or a tiny injury i cant see? is she just healing from it? none of my other hens r pecking her too so, and shes acting just as normal jumping and digging so it gets me confused sometimes

I don't know what it could be.
If it's at random times, then perhaps she has a sprain.

I'd just monitor her and see that she's self limiting her activity.
shes not rlly limiting any activity at all rn, runs and digs eats and drinks just as normal, so ill just keep watching her and keep up w the vitamins for a few days
thank u sm for replying!
