Chicken Suddenly Very Sick! Please Help!

I am happy to say that at last report, Turkey, Turkey was still alive and doing well. You are right, there is no medication that I can find. I researched it cause I just love that turkey and would buy the meds myself if I could find some. His parasite load hadn't changed at last check. She is just treating him like normal. Feed and scraps...he gets to free range all day, every day. She lives in the mountains and all her birds have run of many, many acres.

leadwolf, that is SO encouraging. Thanks so much for replying quickly. I feel like I'm a 'helicopter' mother hen at the moment.....I keep going out to check on my chickens to make sure everyone is standing up and able to walk!

Yaay for Turkey Turkey!

You are very welcome :) Right now, my flock is fighting Marek's...so I know what it's like to continually check that everyone is ok! My wish and prayer for you is that all your others stay healthy

UPDATE: A second chicken has now died very very suddenly! My only remaining rooster.

Trying to figure this out, it occurs to us that a common factor is that both chickens ate a large spider the day before/day of dying. The rooster was found with the spider still in his mouth. Both chickens became paralysed some hours before suffering heaving breathing difficulties and then dying. Horrible deaths. We're very upset by all this. I'm now searching for a safe spray to use around the remaining three hens. Anyone know what action I can take? As we live in Thailand a lot of deterrants available in US are not available here. All advice is GREATLY appreciated.
