thank you somuch for any reply, chicken fine until this am, appears sleepy, and doesent want to open her eyes, she was recently on sulmet as a precaution as my othe chicks had an outbreak of cocci, i gae them all probiotics and vitamins afterwards as recomended, and all was normal, i have never had sickness with my chickens, there is no discharce in her eyes, i listened with a stethescope and did not hear rattling in her breathing, any suggestions ?? poop appearsormal, no diarea

Sulmet will treat a couple of strains of coccidiosis, but since there are many strains, I would get some Corid powder1/2 teasponful per gallon of water or liquid 2 teaspoonsful per gallon, and treat for 5 days if you think she still has it..

thanks somuch, no one has corrid where i live, i will get some tomorrow am,,i went and got her some buttermilk likesomeone suggested, imforcing it but sheis eating,i have someantibiotic eyedrops i am putting inher eyes and i think they have improved, thanks for your help

Yes, you want Amprolium. Corid is the brand name,Amprolium is the medication. Duramycin is an antibiotic(usually used to treat respiratory infections)will do nothing for Coccidiosis.
