chicken suffering

Hi all i have a ex batt hen who at first i thought she was egg bound she has been ill for a couple of days ive tried the olive oil and baths and steam but no egg then i noticed she laid a small chewing gum type lump researched on net some thing call lash but no real info on it i dont like watching her suffer in this crazy british weather we got now what do i do will she recover from this thank you

Depending on how badly your girl is suffering, you may or may not want to put her down - I believe in quality of life over quantity of life. She may bounce back for weeks or months at a time, or she may not. I'm sorry that she's going through this, as I know how frustrating and sad it is to deal with...
 
Hi all she sadly passed away :-( thanks for all the help and info everyone give me . Treated me self to 5 new baby chick bantams :)
