EDIT: I would like to clarify that before I had chickens the first round, I checked with all my immediate neighbors, and all are COOL, I just want to be a good neighbor and try to reduce the noise level in my next go around. I would not get birds, if I had not consulted with my neighbors first.
In my quest of finding the quietest chicken breed, I have decided to create a list of breeds my research has brought me to. My personal experience, only my Wyandotte was quiet & my Olive Egger was extremely loud. Since I am in a urban setting & chickens are not allowed (City & HOA), I am trying find what will work best for my set up. I have been able to keep chickens successfully in my current home (3 years), but hat do re-homed them due to health reasons.
