It's also a great place to get rid of unwanted roos (Michelle & I were set up together). I was there both days & had better luck than Michelle. She didn't get there til mid-morning on Sat. I sold all but 1 of my birds & bought a bunch to either add to my flock or resell.

is anybody going to the ohio mt.hope swat meet on October 19 and/or 20ths im going up there on the 20th to buy a flock of 6 to 12 chickens. .. i want to no if anybody ot there is going to sell at mt.hope oct20 swat meet:

is there alot of chickens/ ducks at the swat meet and is anyone else going... i plan on getting 3 white layer hens and 3 brown layer hens and 1 rooster and maybe a pair of ducks and maybe some Poultry equipment

There is all kinds of differant poultry and even cages, dogs, goats, cats..... U name it a bunch of differant things people Bring. I am going with my friend we always share a lot.

I will be there. I have a bunch of layer hens, a TON of Silkie roos & a few ducks to thin out before winter, plus I have a bunch of Coturnix supposed to be hatching tomorrow. I also have some BBRed Old English Game Bantam roos that need to find new homes. I have 4 & only need 1. I also have a couple breeder pairs of different breeds I'll be selling. I was there in July. The best selection is REALLY early Saturday morning. That's when everyone really packs in, starting around 7am.

I have a trio of runners, a call drake & a BEI drake. Hens are EE, Black Star & Golden Comet. Pairs are LF Splash Cochin & Welsumer/Marans cross.

Never have been to the swap only to the auction, is it ran the same way. Work is slowing down so maybe on that day I will be able to go home early and go to the swap.
