The silkie is a bantam. Silkies are only Bantams right now. There are some people trying to create LF silkies right now. The silkie is too young to sex so your gonna have to wait for 2-3 months before being able to sex it. It is 3 months right now.

does anyone know how the Mid Ohio Alternative Animal and Bird Sale works at mt.hope is it an auction or a sale like the swats

It is an auction. They have different barns set up. If you've never been, go. Its cool to see all the different animals for sale. I didn't buy anything and the sale I wanted to see was over, by the time I got there. The next sale is in August. Another good one they have is the swap meet. I sold birds there last year and will be there again next year. Hatching now for the sale.
