Had a great time at the Merrimack swap even with the rain. Thank God for tents.
The tailgate pot luck BBQ was a great idea. Everything was yummy. Can't wait to do it again today in Candia.
For once I was good and didn't come home with more than I left with. I really wanted that Millie Cochin of Darleens and the lavender one that Janet had.
Thanks Greg for the lids, I really appreciate you making them for me.

I hear ya on the room issue! But I somehow manage to allways find room! LOL And i dont let anything the hubby says affect if I get something or not. If he dont like it he knows where the door is! He allways threatens that if I come home with another animal he is leaving....I keep bringing them home, but I cant get him to leave! Not kidding! LOL

DH IS the problem. I don't dare let him go. If he went he would come back with A LOT more than I would. He has a PhD in chicken math, and has no problems building more for more chickens!!!

I hatched 1 button a short while ago. I have been giving it newborn chicks to keep it company but it needs a quail buddy. I think it is old enough to tell what it is. If anyone can sex quail, I want to buy 1 friend of the opposite gender. I thnk it might be a male?
I would like a different color. mine is dark, so something light would be great. if anyone has one for sale let me know.

I have Jumbo Quail hatching this week and the buttons I have are Chinese Blue Breasted.. What kind do you have Janet? I have four Buttons hatched now and one zipping!

even though I came home from Candia empty-handed, I had a great time talking to some of my fellow BYC'ers and got to spend a nice day with my dad. I had a hard time not purchasing more chicks!

Had a good time yesterday in Merrimack, good idea Greg for the BBQ on the tailgater thingy! The burgers were good. I sold a few birds, but came home with 2 as well, but at least they can go out in the shed!

Candia today was good too, I didnt get to eat the BBQ food though, Wayne got me a sandwich across the street and I think it made me ill! UGH! Anyway, good seeing everyone today, I am down another 5, not pounds (I wish), but chicks. Good news is I did not come home with anything and restted the urge to ask Heather if she had another EE the same age as the one I got from her yesterday to keep it company!

I had a great birthday with all my friends today. Thank you Heather and Jen for the Frizzles, Janet for the eggs, the lady that gave us the Barred rock mixed babies and Donny for buying me the bird I wanted from Janet yesterday. See I was a good girl today and still came home with a bunch of extra babies. The only thing I spent was on chickie food. Lunch was awesome again. Thanks Greg for getting the grill and Wayne for doing the cooking.
