I am keeping his son. these guys are very small. dad is just over 2 lbs. the son is broken black with a blue mom. mom had no pedigree but I am very attatched to the son and really don't need 2 bucks. The french lop buck I just posted a photo of has no woman but he is my favorite so is staying forever.
the chocolate is a great little guy with a nice block head. his ears are a little short but his children have good ears.

That is really small. is he mixed with anything? Do you have pictures?

he is pure and has a pedigree. I will be taking pictures. probably this weekend.

All he did was trip over something lying on the floor in the garage! But when he put out his hand to catch himself he hit it on the workbench exactly wrong and broke the 4th metacarpal. Poor guy, it happened just that fast and now he's looking at half the winter in a cast.

wow Amy that is so awful. it is amazing how fast a life can change. he must be so bummed. don't let him anywhere near ice. I would be afraid to walk to the mailbox.

The funny (or not so funny?) part is that I'm the clumsy one! Oh well. I keep telling him it could have been worse. He could have broken a leg instead, and that would be a much bigger pain to deal with. I'm not sure he's all that consoled by it, though.

Hi everyone...

I bought hatching eggs and went a little overboard. I got an assortment for practice, filled two incubators and have some leftover eggs. I have 10 Porcelain D'Uccle eggs from MyPetChicken that should go in an incubator in the next few days if anyone wants to come and get them, shipped to me on Dec 6. Please PM me if you do. I live in Durham, NH. Probably shouldn't subject them to another round of shipping.

Thanks!

Wish I drove, I would come and get them. Piggy back them in the incubator, I do that all the time. I just put some Lav. Ameraucanas and bantam Millie Cochins in mine. Not sure if the Lav's are fertile or not but the millies are.

Good luck on your hatch.

Hmmm.... piggy back them? Pile them on top? Where would they all hatch?

Or maybe wait a few days, then put the others in lockdown somewhere else... I have an empty still air incubator that I got for super cheap...
