I am planning at this point to come. Not selling, as no NIP tests done... Is the Roo man going to be there ? My big Roos are to much for my girls , as good as they are & beautiful. I keep having hens end up with a bad leg & the Roos of course go after them as they are easy targets & the other hens try to due them in. So I have been running a sick bay for my girls . It's time to bite the bullet, the boys must go

. I'll just keep my 2 Banty Roos.

there is a rooster roundup being planned. I think greg said in june. greg decided that it will be its own event. he was worried that someone would walk through a swap with a carrier full of roos that were not npip tested. you could try putting them on craigs list.

We did have a great day in Walpole!

I can not keep them all so I still have some choosing to do!

April,
I put that polish in gregs duck pen. I gave her a couple of frizzled cochins for company. she is very timid but everyone is leaving her alone. I hope with some tlc she will relax a bit. she seems to relate to me better than to the chickens. tonight I put her on the perch between the cochins. they are so fluffy that she disappeared completely in their curls.

Anyone going to the Plymouth swap that has heritage barred rock pullets/hens? I'm looking for 2 girls to finish off my flock for the year. Point of lay to 2 years old would be perfect.
