Hi all. It seems we won't be able to come to the Tilton Swap unless someone has an interest in adult Sebastopol Geese....let us know if there is any interest. Wayne & Char

If anyone here in NH is interested in a Splash colored Blue Plymouth Rock cockerel drop me a line- PM. I'm not NPIP and only have the one extra so wont be going to any swaps. Would be great if someone with good type Barred Rocks was interested in a trade.

To anyone whos selling at the swap tomorrow Im just wondering what is going to be brought to the swap.

Hi Chicken Pickin. I'll be there with the RI Reds, a few 6 week olds and maybe the Marans. Still thinking on the Marans. Supposed to be quite a few vendors as its the grand opening. Hopefully you'll find something you like!

Anyone going to have turkeys for sale tomorrow?

Hi Serenity

Hope the Marans are doing well. I will not be bringing any tomorrow. My DH had been BEGGING me to get some and I might cave in early next year. If just to shut him up

If you going stop by and say "hi" anyway tomorrow.

Question, because we're trying to be there tomorrow to sell: Do we need to have boxes to sell them in? I am not sure where to come up with that many boxes!

If we can come, we'll have 18+ week heritage breeds and mixes, four runner ducks, and a few nicely show-bred 10-weekers.

The Marans are doing great! Can you believe out of the 7 of them that I got from you 6 were roo's! The only female was the blue, she is beautiful. They are very impressive and I can't believe how BIG the roos are! Think I might have to try again for some females in the spring....

I am looking for a older rooster to help protect my girls. We have a few young Roos but they are not prepared for the job. I live in Alton NH and am going to go to the poultry show next weekend. I am possible looking for a young Silkie Roo for my Silkie pullet. I don't plan on showing them so he doesn't have to be proper.
Thanks to all chicken lovers !

OH NO! I mean they were straight run but geez, you'd think 50/50! The roos will make big babies. I picked up a Birchin from April in Chichester in July. Any roos that hatch out of the mixed bunch will be used as meat birds instead of cornish x. They should be fairly good sized by 16/18 weeks.
