Yes April our loss. I am sorry. I felt so bad. I was going to bring him to the vet if he did improve. I never heard him crow. I like 2 think he was happy with Etta, she was.

my dark brahma pullet is getting giganto size. she has glued herself to my large fowl frizzled cochin roo
"bubba".
(had to give him a tough name cause he looks so girlie.) when he is inside the coop and crows with his big baratone woolly mammoth voice he sounds like a real knuckle dragger. ya know,hide the women and children,the monster approches. then he tiptoes comes down the ramp in little mincing steps. he is a huge boy with black curled feathers that any hen would pay to have. greg looks--shakes his head--and says "that's just wrong".

the quail are about 7 or 8 weeks old. it is a very interesting noise. I was

the first time I heard it.

anyone go out shopping today? we went out at 5am. came home to unload twice. got everything I wanted except for 1 item. went to breakfast after then home. greg is putting a tv stand together for the new flat screen tv he bought a short while ago. he had never done the get up early and shop thing. it was funny watching his reactions to the crowds so early in the day.
