I think I have 3 extra Split Coronation sussex babies if anyone is in the market.

They are 2-3 weeks old. They are feathering in as splits. I will hatch more to get more Coros. I do not need 7 splits.

Seven splits? So how many pure coros did you end up with?

I hatched 8 there is ONE for sure that is a Pure. I thought they were coming in grey...now black! I will keep a few. I am going to hatch some more and hope for at least a few more pures...

I found the splits (and lights) lay better than the pures so that could be why you got more splits. And as you found out grey spots do mean splits! The lavender is very light when they're young.

I put a few eggs in last week to see how they do. Unfortunately ran out of bator space long before I ran out of eggs!

Hi
Does anyone know of anyone here in New England who has a Black Jersey Giants for sale? I would prefer to buy hens over 5 months old.
Thanks

Hey all. Seems like winter is endless

, but knowing the swaps are starting in a few weeks (thank you,Greg!), makes it easier to bare! If anyone is interested, I will have several 5-7 month old pairs (pair = 1 hen and 1 roo) of ( B class) seramas available at the Tilton swap. Miss you guys!

I love my boys. https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/uploads/15886_my_chickens_842.jpg

this is horton and hortense. horton is the light one. he is the coolest roo ever. I don't have a photo of bubba right now. he is a full size frizzled cochin. wonderful guy. huge! like having a small turkey.

Is " Bubba" the black and red one from me? I would love to see him!!!

yes he is. I tried to take photos today. took a few then the camera batteries died. I did manage to get a picture of a couple of the bunny babies.
