Nope I went to Hopkinton for him, she had quite a few to choose from. I was stuck with bourbon red or sweet grass and really like the colors of the sweet grass, Here are some pictures of him :)

Oh dear God. I forgot you told me about the Polish Naked necks. Oh boy......I think I ned a bigger coop......can't go to bed now, must plan.......if I get rid of a horse (or cows, or....) and turn THOSE stalls into chicken pens........

I could so fill those stalls for you. I need to take a picture of my bubba. he is 1 unique boy. he is a frizzled cochin who is the size of a tank and sweet as can be. by the way, I candled the eggs under my hen tonight ans saw some little swimmers. I am planning to fill the bator tomorrow. I fired it up tonight to adjust conditions. I have 20 showgirl and silkie eggs going in. polish naked necks are also going in. bubba babies are on the way. they are not at my house but I know where they are.

I have a Duck that needs rehoming !

I got him this summer from someone on CL who said he was a "pure call duck" ... and he's most likely a cross (he's large) ! he's picking on my little pair of calls and I don't have the space to separate him.

he's about 3x the size of a typical call duck (but does have a call duck head) ... he's all white - I'm assuming he's call X peking (possibly runner) ! he's about a year old.

He's a good protector of his "flock" making sure everyone goes in at night ! but with being cooped up he's taking his frustration out on his bunk mates

... gets along well with the chickens ! (probably even thinks he's a chicken

) ...

I paid a small fee for him originally - but I'd let him go for free to a good home !
