What a relief.. I read the initial post and thought it said Griffinbrook was today,, Whew,,. Glad it's tomorrow like I thought...

Anyway, I'm looking for Sebrights if anyone has some to bring, BUT, I don't want 12..

Sorry, had to cut out early, the heat was making me very dizzy and disoriented. Well, I got rid of my 3 teenage roos, I was saad to see them go, but the dad roo was being such a bully with them. He may be the next one to go if I can find a nice roo to guard the girls if he keeps this up, they were his kids after all! LOL
Sold off one pullet and came home with the other 3 but thats OK cause I will integrate them with the flock if need be. Cheesburger was delicious, thanks for feeding us! And the mac salad was good to! Stay cool!

My daughter and I had a great time at today's swap. It was wonderful meeting everybody and learning more about different breeds of chickens that were there. I'm very happy that FINALLY I was able to buy some Silver Sebrights from a nice woman named Amanda and I'm glad two call ducks I brought with my are in very good hands with Greg. Also met with someone whom is my neighbor from around the corner whom owns goats like I do and she's willing to goat sit for me when the family wants to take a little vacation, so it was a wonderful day for us.

OMG.. finally having Sebrights makes me SOOOOOO happy.

Darbella, it was great meeting you and your husband.. I'm starting to regret not buying those beautiful roos.

Hope everyone had a good time ! ... at lest it isn't too hot today (still plenty warm for sure) ...

....
AND I'm L@@king for (if anyone has somebody left) a Bantam Cochin Pullet or 2 ... My first borns are growing up and I've finally had to start separating the boys with their favorite girls - unfortunately in my "flock-ette" of 9 chicks consists of 8 d'uccles and 1 Millie Bantam Cochin - he's really takin the licking and is the loner who doesn't have any "girls" of his own

...

He was hatched May 1st - he's a tiny little butterball - but I feel bad he's all alone

any color will do (would prefer millie

but really just want him happy) but the same age/size is important since he is low man on the totem pole - would hate for his "girl" to pick on him too

....
Thanks ... And hope I remember the next swap

It was nice meetin gyou and your little gal too! She sure kept herself amused with that umbrella! LOL You would only regret them till they started driving your neighbors nuts with the crowing! hahaha If you still want them, I have more from the same parents and can bring them to the next swap, I am sure the coloring will be the same seeing as those are th eonly colors they seem to produce! haha I am glad the ducks got a home, they sure were adorable and it will be a good home with a pool for them to swim!

Yes, the mac salad was great! I was a little hesitant to eat it when I saw the chopped eggs in it because I never eat fresh eggs, not even refrigerated eggs from my own birds...so i figured I would bite the bullet and try it so when I asked Cheryl if they were from her birds and she said no, i was a bit relieved! hahaha

Anyone going to Tilton and bringing...
Polish Bantam or Standard
black or mottled cochin's Bantam
serama's
