Hi everyone

I want to let everyone know that I have read your pm's and that I will get back to you asap.

I have been putting in some long days remodeling the former auburn court house building and clearing the surrounding land.
The property is family owned and we are working on turning it into an animal shelter. It is our hope to be able to rescue both domestic and farm animals. this is a very complex project and it is taking a big chunk out of my free time. The project is a long time dream of my mother. Because it is so important to her, I am doing everything in my power to make her dream come true. We still have quite a few hurdles to jump over but we are hoping to open some time this summer.

I will be at the tilton chicken swap this sat.
I will have a black bantam cochin roo
I will also have a very cute bunny. he is half netherland dwarf and half lionhead. very small and he has a mane. 6 months old.

I might bring a small blue ee hen too. she is about 7 months old.

Is that all you are bringing? How are those eggs doing? I am not set up for chicks yet, but so excited!!!!! I am going to stop in at the swap to get my fix, I will pop in and say hi!

I got some leghorns, reds and speckeled sussex at TSC thinking I could get my broody to raise them - she rejected them. So now I have 14 chicks (was figuring that I would loose a few to morality) - that I really dont have the time to raise this year. (I know my fault for thinking that my Blueberry would accept them and thinking of a backup.)

I just wanted a couple more hens and maybe a roo to make sure I get eggs for when my girls molt... do i raise em and sell?

If you know you have heavy roos I will take for meat birds.

Hens:
1 Black Sexlink
1 Rhode Island Red
1 Easter Egger (she lays a beautiful blue-green egg)
1 Blue Salmon Faverolle Bantam
1 Splash Laced Red Wyandotte (possibly spoken for)

Roosters:
1 Blue Splash Silkie
1 Partridge Silkie (spoken for)
1 Black Laced Red Wyandotte
2 Blue Laced Red Wyandotte (1 of which is spoken for)

Guineas - 4 girls, 1 boy

Muscovy Ducks - 3 girls, 2 boys (1 may be spoken for)

ETA: I'm probably going to hold off on placing the hens and the Blue Splash Silkie & Black Laced Red Wyandotte roos until I know we are FOR SURE listing our house for sale. However, the Bantam needs a new home as she's just too small to be in with the rest of the gang and I don't have anywhere else to put her. But if you're interested in any of them, let me know and I'll keep your name for when we know whether or not we're moving. Thanks!
