I keep polyvisol baby vitamins on hand. I just add it to the water. Don't get the ones with iron though.
Electrolytes is also good to keep on hand.

Okay still looking for turkey poults here............ now in Lakes Region. Got outta Manchvegas !!!
Also have decided on piglets over goats, so if anyone has piglets hit me up.

Hey NH peeps (ha I kill me)

I finally got my Australorp this year in a chick order from mypetchicken. I got a whole bunch of "always wanted chicks" in my order of 11 pullets and they were hatched on 4/24. They would be just about 4 months old now.

The point here is this... I have never had an australorp before so i was a bit dense in her development. You see, she looks different from the other hens.

Light dawned on marble head Friday night when she crowed... Course, Mike, my Jersey Giant Roo, is quite ticked about the whole thing and now our lovely "hen" is in danger.

Does anyone in the NH area want an australorp Rooster?

Hi there,

I do not need another roo but if you decide you want a hen I have a few extra Australorp hens for sale.

Aw thanks, I have had trouble introducing hens in the past and have decided to stick to chicks going forward. Although I am taking a loss of 1 this year (sigh) due to her being a he, I think I just need to move on and try again next year!! THank you though!

About 1 month younger than the ones you got from me.

We may have some splash laced (maybe blue as well??) red wyandotte chicks in a few weeks. Our SLRW hen decided to sit on 13 eggs and we definitely don't have room for any of them if they hatch. They'd be sold as straight run since I wouldn't be able to sex them. Anyone interested?

Here is a photo of the momma-to-be
