I picked up a couple myself. one was long with a green tray and the other was all wire. got them for my bunnies. it is amazing how much stuff you can find at a swap. I saw a nice rabbit hutch and rolls of wire and chain link fencing. we sold pumpkins today. a couple of us even sold hatching eggs.

we were talking at lunch today and there are still chicks hatching here and there.

You never know what you will find at the swaps. There is always something new that you must have.............

I was good today and refrained from saving roosters. There were just too many pretty ones and I can't save them all

Hope everyone makes the last swap of the year next Saturday at the Agway in Hooksett. I will be there for sure.

Edited to add that all 11 pups are doing well !!!! They are all running around and getting into trouble know that their eyes are open and so far they all have blue eyes.

Hey guys! Hope you're all enjoying the fall!

Does anyone know of someone who rents out either a Whizbang or Featherman chicken plucker tub? I looked on Craigslist but I only saw the stand-up style type and those make me nervous. Plus I'd like my kids to be able to use it since I have to do the rest of the processing by myself.

Yes, I am fine

That is the cost of having this hobby.

I know they have to go. I know chickens are food - for the most part. Sometimes it is easier to have them processed myself because I know what is happening to them and how they are treated right up until the end...... Only 10 extra roosters after hatching over 300 this year is pretty good, I think

I do grow some nice BIG cochins don't I?

Thank you for checking. I tried very hard not to show too much
