Hey all...been pretty busy with new chicks, hatching and new puppies! Janet the Serama made it all the way to hatch day and never made it out....internally pipped and that was it. I cracked it open later on to find that its legs weren't properly developed anyways However I will have at the swap some started pullets (RIR, barred rocks, EEs) white silkie chicks, cochin chicks......pures and mixes, maybe a few random polish too We ended up with 4 baby bunnies that will be a few days over 6 weeks old that I hope can come to the swap for sale as well.

Anyone know what this chick is?? Came in my hatchery order and I think I can pretty much guarantee its not one of the RIRs or Polish I ordered lol

what beautiful pictures!!! no idea on the chick from my egg. looks like a silkie cross. what color was the serama? sorry to hear it didn't hatch. chick on the bottom looks mottled. I had some houdan chicks that looked alot like that except for the head crest.

Answered my own question about that last chick...it has to be a mottled houdan.

Awesome! I'm excited to see your bobwhite and quail stock...we havent raised bob whites in years, it would be fun to take in some more. Great birds, lovely to watch. Also, Jeepchick; Where did you order that one chick clutch from..?

My chicks came in from Ideal this past Thursday. I had ordered 2 dozen RIR, 25 crested special and some trios and other ramdom pullets......5 dozen or so total Guess the little Houdan came in the crested special

thought I had better post a general notice. to the best of my knowledge you need a fish and game license to buy or sell bob whites. blazingsaddles will check into it and let everyone know for sure. all fish and game items can not be sold at swaps. buttons and coturnix are NOT fish and game and CAN be sold.
