okay possibly one then. would you like to trade for some different chicks? i will have LF cochins, rocks, and easter eggers that are all sexed pullets and a few assorted st. run breeds as well. they'll be about five weeks by the concord swap, 1-2 weeks at the milford one.

Hi,

I am new to BYC and chickens in general. Looking for a few heritage breeds...the one on the top of my list is Black Australorps. Does anyone in NH have chicks? Any suggestions would be great.

Are you in NH?

I have some Australorps that are 3-4 weeks old. How many are you looking for? I also have a few Light Brahmas and Blue Laced Red Wyandottes.

our swaps start march 10. we have them EVERY weekend until the fall. if you go to page one of the thread you will see our schedule. if you click on our web site link in my signature line then click on the for sale page we are starting to list what will be for sale at that swap.
I visited one of our regular vendors last week and she has some very beautiful australorps. her byc name is jeepchick if you have any questions for her. all her chicks looked very healthy and well cared for. many of our vendors have hundreds of chicks growing out so they will be ready for our swaps. many of these chicks are hatchery sexed females. one of the bigger vendors coming to the milford swap frequently brings laying hens. swaps are free to attend and they are alot of fun.

the EE's? idk they havn't hatched yet lol! i'm hearing peeping from several of the eggs and expecting pips any time now :) they should be bearded though i think but i'll let you know. the blacks are sex-linked so i'm also not sure how many pullets i'll actually get... hoping for 100% but with my luck they'll all be cockerels!

Any black ones bearded?
