i was wondering if anyone was going to have older pullets or hens there? i bought a few chicks from the milford swap back in march i think and had to get rid of 4 out 6 due to crowing! now 1 of the 2 left has begun crowing! i had NO luck this year and i want eggs soon!!!!

did you notice that there are some 9 month layers listed a couple of posts above you? those would be perfect. my suggestion would be to arrive very early if you want a chance at those!

i guess i can try to get there before 9 or about 9 since i wont have both kids that day (staying over grans house!!!!! yeah im sooo excited) anyway i wish i knew how much, but at the same time my coop doesnt even have nest boxes in it yet or a run =( thats our prject for this weekend.

Look for me when you arrive. I have red hair and will be set up close to the building. I know who is bringing the layers and will be happy to point the vendor out to you. I am kind of the information booth.
my hubby Greg( Big bald guy) can also point out the vendor to you. there are also some 4 1/2 month olds on the for sale list too.

I know july is far away but I am going to the Milford swap on the 14th with 20(i think) one year old hens... some BR's,NH and EE's.... and possibly some other things..

I will have pullets tomorrow ranging in age from 6 weeks to 12 weeks old in a bunch of different breeds. Also 2 seven week old lion/lop bunnies and some other random goodies. See you there!
