Question : Has anyone heard about the State passing a law that people can have only 6 chickens ? someone mentioned that to me ( she said her grain store told her & someone else ) , as they were wondering why I had my flock NNIP tested . They thought it was for other reasons than that I wanted it done so I can sell at the swaps ( if I decide to sell any of my birds) . Also I am selling eggs. She thinks the state is up to something . Thought I would ask if anyone heard of the 6 chicken limit

This would be....kind of impossible, since it is state law (RSA 437:15) that chicks younger than 4 weeks must be sold in quantities no less than 12! I think this rumor may be a good example of how information can get twisted around in the re-telling....

Sounds like this law has been ammended ( according to postings a couple days ago ) ...but , makes one curious as to what the State of NH is up to ?
