busy weekend. there was a large turnout on saturday. derry has a small parking lot. greg found spaces for more vendors than we have ever had there. I went home with quite a few empty cages and a cute big bunny. she is a cross between a flemish giant and an english lop. she has great big floppy ears.

sunday we set up in the rain. the swap got off to a slow start. we stuck it out. around noon the sun and the people came out. then we were filling boxes. I am out of guineas. alot of my special pullets are gone. I also came home with a beautiful blue eyed white lion lop buck and with some appenzeller/americauna hatching eggs. interesting combination!
we had a vendor there with goats and goat meat. greg bought some sausage to give it a try.
I wish we had someone there with turkeys and polish chickens. we had 2 very dissapointed customers because there were no polish.

after the swap we went out to dinner and got great big ice cream cones. yum.

OOPs guess we left too early! We will definitely be in Tilton next weekend and should have the older Black Stars, Americanas and RI Reds. Possibly some younger Americanas and Black Stars as well. Just got a hatchery shipment this past week of suprise special pullets. Still trying to figure out what all of them are but there seems to be a few Buff Orps, White Rocks and Reds in the bunch. If interested in the young 'uns PM me as I'm not planning on bringing them unless someone is looking for babies.
